Attorneys Blake Lusk and Donald J. Latuso, Jr. teamed up to win a Motion for Partial Summary Judgment in the case Tijuan Self v. Lighthouse Property Insurance Corporation, currently pending in the 21st Judicial District Court for the Parish of Livingston. In the Judgment signed by the Court on October 11, 2016, the Honorable Charlotte H. Foster dismissed the bad faith claims filed by attorney Joseph LaHatte, III, with prejudice. The Court agreed that Lighthouse acted in good faith in its handling of plaintiff’s claim, as plaintiff did not repair or replace the damage from the fire at issue and settled elsewhere. This case was transferred to The Monson Law Firm after a year of litigation, showing that we can pick up the pieces and obtain a great result! This is the fourth successful Bad Faith Motion for Summary Judgment won by our firm this year! Click here to review the Judgment!
