The Monson Law Firm attorneys, Matthew Monson and Laura Harris Abel, were instrumental in founding the North Shore Claims Association, which will serve the needs of Louisiana’s claims adjusters from Hammond to Slidell, Louisiana. Mr. Monson was elected Secretary and Ms. Abel, parliamentarian, for 2015.

The Monson Law Firm attorneys Laura Abel and Leah Rhodes will each be presenting at the 20th Annual Louisiana Claims Association Education Conference and Expo to be held in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 4-6 at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center.
Ms. Abel’s presentation is entitled “Sworn Statements in Proof of Loss, Examinations Under Oath and Appraisal: Fraud Fighting Policy Provisions” at will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 5, 2014.
Ms. Rhodes’ presentation is entitled “Managing the Workers’ Compensation Claim of an Undocumented Worker” and will take place at 10:45 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014.
